TEHRAN-Eleven Iranian photographers have been awarded distinction certificates by the International Federation of Photographic Art (FIAP).

In order to honor eminent personalities known in the field of photography, the FIAP awards various distinctions to photographers worldwide every year. With the end of 2023, it has announced the recipients of distinction certificates, among which there are 11 photographers from Iran, Mehr reported.

Mahdi Zabolabbasi has received the EFIAP/S certificate, which is the silver badge of Excellence FIAP awarded to photographic artists who, apart from having excellent techniques, have a significant number of their work often been accepted in many international salons under FIAP Patronage.

Four more photographers received EFIAP, including Farzin Nazemzadeh, Amirhossein Honarvar, Alireza Pourkhan, and Abbas Haji-Hossein-Kalantar.

Fereidoon Daliri, Shakhevan Osmani, Mehran Khodabakhshi, Davood Rastegari, Amirhossein Abazarian, and Mohammad Mokhtarnia are the other six photographers who have been awarded AFIAP certificates. 

The distinction Artist FIAP (AFIAP) is the first artistic distinction that can be obtained. It is awarded to photographic artists whose artistic qualities, technique, and production of work have been acknowledged through their participation in international salons under FIAP Patronage.
